The Technical University Art Days were held in 1970 and featured artistic groups from the Budapest University of Technology (BME), theatre groups from other universities, and the Academy of Fine Arts and Drama students. The performances lasted several days and took place in the elliptical theatre, which could seat between 100 and 200 people depending on the occasion and was equipped with modern technical equipment or in the university’s newly rebuilt youth club of Communist Youth Alliance (KISZ).
